Gostran Alborz Polyethylene Company (private shares) as the first subsidiary company of Pasargad Energy Development Holding (member of Pasargad Bank Financial Group) in 2008 with the aim of producing a variety of polymer products with the PEGA brand (in the first phase of production of polyethylene gas pipes) in a factory in The area of 11,000 square meters located in Eshtehard Industrial Town (Alborz Province) started to operate. Considering the increasing need for geomembrane sheets and the advantage of the high width of this product in reducing the cost and time of projects, since 2017, the factory expansion plan using reliable European machines was put on the agenda and after comprehensive and detailed evaluations and supply The required resources, purchase, installation, commissioning, and training contract were concluded with KUHNE GROUP, Germany, and in 1400, the process of importing machinery and installing and commissioning the wide geomembrane sheet production line was operational at the factory site.

- The possibility of producing HDPE and LLDPE geomembrane sheets with a width of up to 8.5 meters with an annual capacity of 14,000 tons
- The uniformity of the thickness of the manufactured product by relying on advanced machinery and European technology with an accuracy of 0.4%
- Ability to produce smooth and textured sheets
- The possibility of producing multi-layer sheets (from one to three layers) with a thickness of 750 microns to 3 mm

Based on this, in addition to obtaining mandatory standard certificates for the production of polymer products from the Iranian Standards and Industrial Research Organization under the PEGA brand, this company has also implemented ISO17025 and ISO 9001-2015 quality management systems in its organization.
Quality control laboratory
In order to perform numerous tests on the samples extracted from the product, based on national and international requirements and standards, an industrial laboratory with the most modern equipment from the most reliable global manufacturers such as IPT Germany has been purchased and equipped. Also, this company has succeeded in obtaining the “Laboratory Collaborator Qualification Approval” certificate from the National Standards Organization of Iran. In 1400, this company also managed to register its membership in the Geosynthetic Engineering Employers’ Association of Tehran Province (Zimin Saz).
